Stunning Views Take Center Stage at the 2013 Opera Ball

Each year, the Washington National Opera celebrates its season with a ball held at a unique location. In 2013, US Event Structures provided custom tents for the Opera Ball benefit held at the residence of the Italian ambassador.

“The tent space was over part of the back patio and into the backyard, so we chose an overall theme that fit an outdoor element,” said Matthew Porter, director of special events for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, which organized the ball.

To help our client create the perfect atmosphere for the event, a custom structure was constructed to fit the uniquely-sized patio at the Italian Ambassador’s residence. An additional 82′ wide clear top tent extended into the residence’s rolling hills, requiring a 10’ high elevated floor. Check out that view!

US Event Structures is proud to be the trusted partner in this event year after year. The Opera Ball was featured in Bizbash.com. Read “Opera Ball Explores Italy’s Culture, Cuisine, Cars” for more information about event details and the venue.
